Academy visits People's Republic of China

Induction Dinner

Mr LIU Guijin, Chinese Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa, Dr SONG Jian, President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Dr Bingle KRUGER, President of the South African Academy of Engineering and Dr XUAN Zengpei, Deputy-General, Department of International Co-operation, at the recent induction dinner for new members held at Gallagher Estate, Midrand.

The South African Academy of Engineering hosted a dinner for a Chinese delegation visiting South Africa during June 2002 under the leadership of Dr Song Jian, President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

The two Academies are planning joint activities for the future.
