• Co-founder and Vice President Engineering of Zyray Wireless Inc. (formerly Ronin Wireless Inc.). Zyray was established in late 2000 and is a San Diego based start-up company funded by US based venture capital funds developing integrated circuit solutions for third generation mobile communication devices.
• Awarded S2A3 medal for the best Master’s thesis in all sciences (University of Pretoria) – 1995 and Altron Group best paper award 1997 & 1999.
• Author and co-author of 9 patents in digital communications.
• Author of more than 30 international conference and journal papers. Co-author of two academic books on mobile communications and space-time processing.
