• Co-Founder and Director of Claassen Auret & De Lange from 1977 to 1983.
• Co-Founder and Director of De Lange Mitchell Du Preez from 1983 – 1986.
• Consultant for the Atomic Energy Corporation from 1986 to 1988.
• Business Unit Manager of IST Industrial Division 1988 to 1993, Director of IST and Manager of IST Industrial 1993 to 1997, Managing Director of IST Industrial from 1997 – 2001 and Managing Director of IST Nuclear Power Systems from 2001 to date.
• Received honours on behalf of IST Industrial as winner of Technology Top 100 Award (Category Construction & Infrastructure) 1998 and 1999 and Ministerial Award for Excellence in Technology.
• Member of SA Institute of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and of American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
