Program Manager: Fuel Manufacturing Industrialization, PBMR (Pty) Ltd.

• Started his career at the South African Atomic Energy Board and became Head of Control and Instrumention.
• Was Manager of the Y-Project and Y-Plant of the Uranium Enrichment Corporation between 1970 and 1978. Member of UCOR engineering team who were responsible for scaling up the laboratory proven aerodynamic uranium isotope separation process to industrial scale application in the UCOR Y-Plant.
• Was Director of the BKS Group from 1979 to 1986.
• Founder sharehoulder, Executive Director and Chairman of Integrators of System Technology (IST) from 1986 to 1997. IST made a significant contribution to the development and production of military equipment and systems for the South African Armed Forces during the era that South Africa was unable to procure such material from overseas sources.
• Joined PBMR (Pty) Ltd in 2005 as Consultant (Special Projects). Is currently managing a program to industrialize the PBMR fuel element manufacturing technology in order to establish within PBMR the capability to produce pebble fuel elements of the required quality in sufficiently high volumes and low enough unit cost for commercial application.
